Legal information

Privacy Policy

This policy explains how information may be handled when you visit the AMH website or contact the hospital using a linked communication service.

Effective date: 30 August 2026

Who this policy covers

This policy covers the public website for AMH Hospital & Rehabilitation Centre. It does not replace separate notices or consent used for clinical records and care delivered directly by the hospital.

Information you choose to share

This website currently directs appointment and general enquiries to telephone, email or WhatsApp. If you contact AMH through one of these channels, you may provide information such as your name, phone number, email address, preferred branch, reason for contacting us and preferred appointment details.

Please avoid sending detailed or highly sensitive medical information through ordinary email, social media or WhatsApp unless an AMH representative specifically asks for it and you are comfortable using that channel.

Information collected automatically

The website and its hosting provider may process standard technical information needed to deliver and protect the service, such as IP address, browser type, device information, requested pages, timestamps and security logs.

The site does not currently provide a patient account or an integrated online appointment form. If these features or dedicated analytics tools are introduced, this policy should be updated before they are enabled.

How information may be used

Information you share may be used to respond to your enquiry, route it to the appropriate branch or department, arrange or follow up an appointment request, provide requested service information, maintain operational records and protect the website from misuse.

AMH should use the information only for the purpose for which it was provided, for related care administration or where retention or disclosure is required by applicable law.

WhatsApp and external services

Links to WhatsApp, Google Maps, social platforms and other external websites take you to services operated by third parties. Their own terms and privacy policies apply, and AMH does not control how those services process information.

Opening a pre-filled WhatsApp message does not send it automatically. You can review or edit the message before choosing to send it.

Sharing and access

Information may be available to authorized AMH staff who need it to handle your enquiry or appointment request, and to service providers that support communications, hosting or website security where applicable.

AMH should not sell personal information. Information may be disclosed where required by law, to protect patients or others, or to investigate security and misuse concerns.

Retention and security

Information should be retained only for as long as reasonably needed for the relevant enquiry, operational record, care administration or legal requirement. Retention periods may differ depending on the type of record and the channel used.

Reasonable safeguards should be used, but no internet, email or messaging service can be guaranteed completely secure. Do not use this website or its linked channels for an emergency.

Your choices

You may contact AMH to ask about personal information you have submitted, request a correction or raise a privacy concern. Some information may need to be retained where required for legitimate operational, clinical or legal purposes.

You can choose not to use WhatsApp or email and contact the relevant AMH branch by telephone instead.

Privacy questions

For a privacy question or correction request, contact AMH at [email protected] or call +91 9809 425 425.

AMH may update this policy when website features, communication practices or applicable requirements change. The effective date above should be revised when material changes are published.
